Troops, you rallied. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’ve been sending out Advance Review Copies of my five soon-to-be-published books and instructions to those of you who asked to review. We still have a few spots left, so if you didn’t read Monday’s post (Rally Point Tango Alpha Bravo), go check it out and let me know if you want to play with us in the literary sandbox.

Many of you asked me to guest blog. I need a hankie, because I’m tearing up. I can’t believe how supportive this community is. I have a fancy spreadsheet now listing all my upcoming guest posts, and I will start cranking them out and sending them to you for you to plug in whenever you want a day off. Thank you!

I have discovered a wonderful tool for easily creating ebooks. If you know how to use WordPress, you know how to use Pressbooks. It’s time-consuming, but ebook creation is always time consuming. I’ll blog on its awesomeness soon, but I wanted to get the word out there, in the meantime. And big thanks to Jane Friedman, for writing about it in her last newsletter. I was about to bust out some HTML, and Pressbooks was far better, and their customer support rocks.

Wish I had time to write more, kids, but I’m preparing for the Houston Writers Guild Annual Conference, which is April 13-14. I’ll report out on the deets next week.

Cowabunga dudes,

Pamelot

One of my favorite covers. (except for the missing Ghost Face 🙂 )

And the support had ROCKED as far as reviews and stuff goes. What an exciting time.

And I have to put in a good word for your Editor (in case she stops by). Meghan is awesome and I expect that she will be in such demand in a few years that people will be getting in line to work with her.

  5. I’m a bit late to the party! Just wanted to say “GOOD JOB” and wow! You’ve been working very hard. Thanks for the info on Pressbooks. I was using PDF995 (pdf format) which was pretty easy but I am going to check out Pressbooks. This is one of those “about time” moments because we all knew you would make it.
