Hey y’all!

What a week! The Kickstarter for Going for Kona launched and we immediately hit our minimum funding goal. We are halfway from there to our “gentle stretch goal” of $1000. I like to think it’s because we’re running it as a pre-order system instead of a “give me money” drive. So, if you haven’t placed your pre-order yet, you have 23 days left to do it, HERE.

Of course that wasn’t the only amazing thing that happened last week. The most amazing thing was that Houston Press named me to its Top 10 Authors of Houston for 2014 list. When you consider the competition, I am still gobsmacked. And happy. Very, very happy!

Bonus: my sweet husband bought my sunflowers and took me to dinner and a play to celebrate the Houston Press announcement and that I turned Going for Kona in for beautification by my editor.

That’s all I’ve got.
