Today today today…is the release of KNOCKOUT…the third and final Ava trilogy romantic mystery in the What Doesn’t Kill You world. Squee! I love me some Ava, and I hope you do too.
I can’t wait to hear what you think!

Eric and I just got back from a fantastic weekend at Wild Deadwood Reads in Deadwood, South Dakota. The readers were awesome, and I have a girl crush on my new author friends, Elena Hartnell (Eddie Shoes mysteries) and Christina Hoag (Silver Falchion finalist for suspense). It will be great fun to share our video interviews for Wine Women & Writing with you.
We laughed and laughed and laughed…
Eric and I snuck in a hike up to Roughlock Falls. The Black Hills are gorgeous.
While we were in SD, we had a group staying in our house, a la their purchase of a week at Snowheresville at a charity auction. They were awesome, and one of them told me it was the best vacation of her life <3 Another took a flying lesson and shared this video of our place from above. The yellow haze is flowers–balsam root.
This week, I have picked up our team of Amish fence builders and they are hard at work. In only ten more days, Feathers and Katniss will get to move into their new mountain pasture! And I have saved up descriptions and anecdotes from my time with the Amish for . . . Dead Pile aka Maggie #3, to be written this year!
Last week was the bachelorette weekend and shower for our middle daughter.
Yeah, we’re nothing but class in that video 😉
This weekend is the wedding. We can’t wait! Eric is practicing his father of the bride speech, with lots of tears. After the wedding, our youngest son and his girlfriend are coming back to Wyoming for a week with us.
It’s the best month ever!
Hope yours is fantastic, too, and that’s you enjoy the heck out of KNOCKOUT, and Ava.
