Hello, my friends.
My husband Eric and I spent this last week in Jacksonville visiting his brother and family. My two fave pictures? One on New Year’s Eve when my sis-in-law and I decided it was best to celebrate in our pjs (because … see below), and one in St. Augustine at the wonderful restaurant Columbia. Is there anything better than time with the ones you love?
All good things must come to an end, and so it is with Eric’s holiday time off. He’s back to work, and we are back to scrambling from house to house and town to town, sometimes together, sometimes not.
Eric and I brainstormed SAWBONES, which I am drafting this month. It’s the third Patrick Flint novel, with the second, SNAKE OIL, due to release the ebook on January 15th (paperback is out already), and the first, SWITCHBACK, really taking off right now on Amazon. Go, Patrick and family, go!
On the Show
This week on Wine Women & Writing: Amy Impellizzeri joins me to talk about WHY WE LIE. Amy is a reformed corporate litigator, former start-up exec, and award-winning author. After spending a decade at one of the top law firms in the country, Amy left to advocate for working women, eventually landing at a VC-backed start-up company, Hybrid Her (named by ForbesWoman as a top website for women in 2010 and 2011), while writing her first novel. Amy currently lives in rural Pennsylvania where she works and plays and keeps up on all of the latest research confirming that large volumes of coffee are indeed good for you.

Hold me to it: it’s time for a New Year and that means clean eating, walking, riding my horses, getting our taxes done, and writing SNAKE OIL. Jax was a rough start to those things, but I’m on-track now and hope to stay that way.
How about you?
<3 Blessings and love,
